Keep looking into the eyes of this toad. All you can figure out is that these large red eyes are continuously staring back at you, as if they are tryinghard to analyze and scrutinize you. Well there are hundreds of them looking at you without even being visible.
Is someone stalking you? Well, you cannot possibly know, can you? Even if you turn back you will find nothing. Write your name in Google search bar and my point, to you, will be crystal clear. It does not matter whether you belong to Twitter, Facebook or Myspace or any other organization. Once you have created a profile on the internet, you are accessible to anyone around the world. We just used the word accessible but most refer to it as STALKING! Now this stalking can have many different interpretations. Some call it mere browsing through the internet others call it researching and still other refer to it as spying.
You must be thinking that why anyone would browse through someone else’s profile. Every ones busy everyone has hi/her own priorities, but today we have more than one reason to put in front of you. When you set on a search of finding jobs then you browse through the categories and choose which suits you. But it could also happen that you could be browsed for a job offer.
But most important is the point when people start browsing you for marriage proposals. This is the most hilarious bit. People search for your profiles on facebook and the might even add you up as well. Then they search for you on twitter. Then they start searching for your company with your profile in it. Browsing over here is more used for stalking which is a new name for researching.
But this does not necessarily have to be for marriage proposals; it could also be for the curiosity sake, where you want to know about the other person. But at the end of the day, give it any name you feel like stalking and spying but it cannot be named otherwise. So just give it a thought and start stalking, oh I mean researching.
Other than simply browsing, there are others which make use of websites which can track your movement on the internet. They track which website you visit, how much time you spend there, thus making the term privacy a vague one. There is no privacy anywhere for that matter let alone internet. No matter how many times you update and revise your privacy settings, at the end of the day, you are easily accessible.
In order to control this problem, some browsers have introduced privacy modes, so that you can easily save yourself from the jungle and the beasts that are continuously in search. InPrivate on Internet Explorer and Incognito Mode on Goggle chrome prevent Data from being stored in user’s computer. Now at the same time fake privacy modes also exist, so you can never know what exactly you are heading towards.
