Could i also get links to your previous IT job trend analysis???

Umair May 26, 2010 at 7:50 AM

Come to think of it.. after searching the website for the entire list…. a monthly report is just the thing that is missing..

not that i am whining about the weekly it Trends… the information is Amazing.. and really really helpfull.. just not spread out over enough time to show any specific IT trends in the country or in particular cities for real statistical comparison. ..

just two suggestions…

1. A listing or search for all previous postings for job trends… sort of like a Job trend report repository .. for analysis..

2. A monthly analysis.. to see a bigger picture of the trends. and then (Inshallah) an yearly analysis to see the Macro state of the nations IT sector…

but i do feel sad that your report does not count for the jobs lost.. i know i know.. I’m getting way over my head here .. may be expecting too much… and it would be a lot of work but.. this just might put Code week right up there with Wired and the Economist ..a Paki mag up there would be awesome :D. (hay a man can dream can’t he : )

Well Umair, thank you very much for your concern. Your idea is actually brilliant! We must give it a try at least. I shall discuss this soon with our Editor and you shall see a Positive response from CodeWeek very soon! Thank you once again!

And YEAHHH, the idea of a separate homeland for the Muslims of the Subcontinent was also a dream first! which was later realized by Quaid -e- Azam… so from now onwards you are Iqbal and I am Quaid! :)

Thanks Ayesha,

Codeweek’s efforts will be much appreciated in the community.

you have asked me to fill in some big shoes :P … will try my best to do that.. but do expect motivational Object C and Perl rather then poetry from me :)
