Employment Index- Weekly Job Trends Comparison

by Noc Team on July 16, 2010

CodeWeek has formulated an Employment Index for its readers belonging to the world of IT. This index highlights the comparison between the first two weeks of July, in accordance with the job openings available. The statistical information varies from week to week. Through easy to understand graphical representation created by our team members, readers can easily decipher a significant increase and decrease in online recruitment across various cities of Pakistan.

July’s second week shows us a marked increase in climbing job opportunities in the local IT market. This continuous and growing scenario reflects a positive growth and a suitable direction for those who wish to pursue a suitable career in the IT arena.

If you closely look at the bar charts there is a marked difference between job openings appearing in different cities, especially which mainly include Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad.

Lahore being the center of innovation in the world of IT, showed a marked difference between job openings available in the first week of July with number reaching 80 and then flying high towards almost the double within a gap of seven days i.e. during the next week 11th of July.

But with Karachi and Islamabad the situation is slightly different, where the situation balanced itself with a slight increase and decrease in the results as shown in the bar charts.
