Install Microsoft Office on Ubuntu

The tutorial below will teach you how to install Microsoft Office

Before proceeding to the following steps, get the patched version of Microsoft Office Setup from MIS department. Copy the setup folder to somewhere in your file system.

CrossOver installation (Stable then Wine)

Follow these steps to install Microsoft Office. Click on the menu Applications → CrossOver → Install Windows Software

Where it resides

Applications → Windows applications → Microsoft Office

Wine Based installation

Locate your Dreamweaver setup.exe file. Right click on it and click on option “Open With wine windows program loader”. Follow the rest of GUI step to install Dreamweaver.

Where it resides

Applications → Wine →   Programs → Microsoft Office
