Microsoft Project And Visio On Ubuntu

This week we have an amazing tutorial of how to install Microsoft Project and Microsoft Visio on Ubuntu.

Installing Microsoft Project

Before proceeding to the following steps, get the patched version of Microsoft Project Setup. Copy the setup folder to somewhere in your file system.

CrossOver installation (Stable then Wine)

Follow same steps like “CrossOver installation of Microsoft Office” but select “Microsoft Project” In first step.

Where it resides

Applications → Windows applications → Microsoft project

Wine Based installation

Locate your Microsoft Project setup.exe file. Right click on it and click on option “Open With wine windows program loader”. Follow the rest of GUI step to install Microsoft Project.

Where it resides

Applications → Wine →   Programs → Microsoft Project

Before proceeding to the following steps, get the patched version of Microsoft Visio Setup. Copy the setup folder to somewhere in your file system.

Ahan.. wonder full. So it is the best thing ubuntu can do .. But why not people move to ubunut
