The country is automating its banking and health sector. This will provide a great opportunity to Pakistan’s IT companies, which have proved to be experts, when it comes to banking and Telecom.

The Chairman and Chief Executive officer of Netsol Technologies, Salim Ghauri, said that it is a great opportunity for the Pakistan’s IT companies.

“The Chinese banking sector would be expanding extensively in next 10 years. Similarly, health sector is one of the largest areas where China needs automation,” he added. By exploring and providing Chinese banks with diversified software Pakistan’s IT companies will be able to grow and develop as progress in the world takes place.

PSEB and Pakistan’s Embassy in Beijing should play an active role in helping the companies in making their way towards the Chinese market and thus provide strong business opportunities to the companies.

He also added that the current policy makers have totally ignored the developing IT sector which signifies their shortsightedness. For progress and development Pakistan requires a well-built industry with all the government and private organizations supporting and promoting it. The Industry has progressed at a tremendous pace during the past few years and this progress should continue. Every opportunity should be availed because it is a step towards development in the international arena.
