From Harvard’s dorm room in 2004, till acquiring a user base of 300 million in 2009, today Facebook’s owner Mark Zuckerberg has been ranked at number 158 by Forbes, in its annual 400 richest Americans list. It was also quoted that his net worth is $2 billion, one-fifth of Facebook’s $10 billion valuation. At 25, Zuckerberg is by far the youngest member of the Forbes 400 list. Last year, Zuckerberg debuted on the list at #321. His net worth at that time was $1.5 billion.

Netscape founder and Facebook director Marc Andreessen claims, “Facebook, will top $500 million in revenue in 2009”.

A few weeks back Mark Zuckerberg said that, “Earlier this year we said we expected to be cash flow positive sometime in 2010, and I’m pleased to share that we achieved this milestone last quarter, “This is important to us because it sets Facebook up to be a strong independent service for the long term.”

And today Forbes has given us the reason and the result of Zuckerberg’s above statement, where he has been ranked as the youngest and the richest 148th amongst the 400. Alongwith this Facebook has been be declared as a profit-making company and being “free cash flow positive”. This indicates that a stock market launch could finally become a possibility.
